Optifine?:no
Does adding/removing Optifine affect the issue?: unknown, as optifine would cause many other problems in my pack.

Crashed on placement of enderIO flat transfer node on 'secret chest' and viewing inventory

Hope this can be fixed, cause I like your mod, and I like enderIO.

are you able to join the world back? or is it every time you rejoin it crashes

I was able to rejoin the world, but any interaction with the blocks involved would crash it again.
