Description

"Forgotten Asylum" is a VR escape room game set in a mysterious and eerie abandoned asylum. Players must solve puzzles, navigate through dark corridors, and uncover the secrets of the asylum to escape. Embark on a harrowing journey in a labyrinthine laboratory where forbidden experiments to resurrect a loved one go awry. Navigate puzzles, combat mutated entities, and unravel the consequences of grief and forbidden knowledge. Will you save a scientist from the monstrosity he inadvertently created?

About the Project

"Forgotten Asylum" is inspired by classic horror themes and escape room puzzles. It combines immersive VR experiences with challenging puzzles and an engaging storyline. Developed using Unity3D, the game aims to provide a thrilling and immersive experience.

Getting Started

Prerequisites

  • Unity 3D (version 2021.1 or later)
  • VR headset (Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, etc.)
  • Git

Installation

  1. Clone the repository:
    git clone https://github.com/Advaitgaur004/Forgotten_Asylum.git
  2. Open the project in Unity:
    • Launch Unity Hub
    • Click on "Add"
    • Navigate to the cloned repository and select the folder
    • Open the project

Usage

  • Launch the game in Unity.
  • Put on your VR headset.
  • Use the VR controllers to navigate and interact with the environment.
  • Solve puzzles and explore the asylum to find your way out.
