Using Ctrl+Alt+F[n] to switch between terminals causes the consequent inputs to be interpreted as a combination of ^[ plus characters, which didn't happen between DE and tty.

Using chvt probably works out well but it still feels clumsy sometimes

Can't reproduce. Are you still seeing the same issue with the latest libtsm and kmscon?

I'm no longer using kmscon tho, tho I think I could try to reproduce just for the experiment...

I do experience the same issue with kmscon 9.0.0. I am not sure how to give reproduction steps. :/
