Has anyone considered doing a plugin for "smart quotes" - in other words, the first double quote you type turns from a double quote (ASCII
0x22) into a left quote (“), the second into a right quote (”)? And, of course, the equivalent for single quotes.If there isn't such a thing around, does anyone have any tips for how one might go about writing one?
