Eufy RTSP 4K Stream

Hi,

I am currently using Eufy 4K cameras, which I monitor and record through Synology Surveillance Station. While the setup works well, I am facing a significant limitation. When I enable the RTSP (Real-Time Streaming Protocol) feature on these cameras, the maximum resolution drops to 1080p. This results in a substantial decrease in quality, effectively downgrading my 4K footage to 1K and causing a significant loss in bitrate.

Additionally, if I install 'go2rtc', would it be possible to achieve 4K streaming over the RTSP channel?

Don't know what you mean. RTSP or go2rtc don't have any restrictions on the resolution size.

This sounds like a camera limitation not possible to be solved by anyone other than eufy
