Signal strength and battery status missing on connected bluetooth device.

When connected to my Parrot Asteroid the unit does not show the signal strength and battery level, it's showing a symbol for no signal and an empty battery instead. Track Info for Music is working and the connection is stable but this info seems to be missing since the first releases of Android L for mako.

If only if I could change the Bluetooth apk. Unfortunely the code for the new Bluetooth stuff is closed source right now so if I try to put a compiled app in there, it just crashes.
That Bluetooth bug has hunted us the whole preview and I have tried to fix it so many ways :'(
