Describe the issue

I began noticing this about 4 months ago and just assumed it was my PC being shit, but other people have also been experiencing the same issue starting 4 months ago.

The longer you are in the character editor actively editing a character, sorting out different outfit loadouts, etc., the laggier the character editor becomes + the higher my ping rises, until eventually it repeatedly disconnects you/crashes your character editor window.

The modchat can't take this anymore, I can't take this anymore:

I've also noticed that it lags other people on the server out too, as if my character editor fucks my connection, other people start complaining about lag in LOOC/OOC until I've shut my character editor - though this may be a series of multiple coincidences that have given me this impression.

How to reproduce

  1. You may need to be on the live server.
  2. Open a character slot and begin dripping your character out.
  3. It could be something to do with loadout slots, so make sure all 4 loadout slots are getting tweaked.
  4. Sit actively tuning loadouts for a solid 30 minutes in typical Lobbysitter fashion.

I experience this bug often as well, though I haven't noticed it appearing to cause any lag issues for anyone else.
