Since macOS 15 lots of things has changed that resulted in Private API attachment send completed broken and crash the iMessage server ALWAYS.

Also message sorting is wrong many SMS forward is showing at the bottom of the chat conversation list on my phone with 1.9.8 prerelease server.

As well as supporting customised emoji reaction in the new macOS 15 and iOS 18
And the new RCS chat feature in the new macOS 15 and iOS 18

FindMy is NOT working at all

FaceTime API notification is NOT working at all

When are we expecting an much needed server update please? say server version 2.0.0?

One more Added Questions would it be possible to:
change the app icon and name on Android to make it look like iOS green messaging app icon and app name called iMessage?
Would it be possible to merge different contact number and email into single contact like how iOS and macOS deal with contacts please?

Many things with this:

  1. Bluebubbles is not the developpers full time jobs so things don't get fixed instantly
  2. To add onto this, it's essentially reverse engineering iMessage which is harder than just creating a normal program
  3. All the new iOS 18/macOS 15 features will be added in due time
  4. RCS is already on android?
  5. Why the big jump of version? sure there's more features but that happens with every update
  6. iMessage name and logo are copyright of Apple so bluebubbles cannot just be named iMessage 🤣
  7. Why not just have the phone number and email in the same contact on android? bit confused on what you mean here

Regarding to Contact auto combine thread:

Apple automatically combine different chat threads into a single chat, whether it's SMS, RCS, or iMessages to different email addresses or different phone numbers. As long these contact details are saved under the same contact, they will be in a single thread.

At the moment, Blue Bubbles app does NOT do this. Even if email address and phone numer are saved under the same contact person profile, it will be split into multiple thread. That is VERY inconvenient and doesnt make sense for user at all. Messed up my chat list.

Android phone sold on the main western market already support RCS, via Google Messages Universal Profile. Apple starting supporting it from September 2024.
So far Blue Bubbles app doesnt support this feature at all. It either show SMS or iMessages but it actually sends RCS if RCS is supported on the other recepient phone.

If Find My get fixed, if FaceTime API get fixed, and all these above feature get released, this release would deserve to be called 2.0

That is entirely up to the developers

So if your phone already supports RCS why do you need RCS on bluebubbles???
