Probably there should be a better way to uniquely identify ports across systems. Maybe introduce a structure that holds information similar to MIDIPort in WebMIDI, containing data in a more structured format that just a single string. For example, to find a specific device to reconnect to in ALSA, the port number should be disregarded in favor of the port name.

Update: This is now tracked by #34.
