This is based on the RetailStandalone prototype as the first floor. The second floor is the same footprint as the first but assuming it is a MediumOffice space. Address used is for Willis Tower building
Floor Area
49,390 (24,695 each floor)
When Translator goes through and populates the the second floor, the layout of the zoning looks ok:
For the first floor Retail part, however, we get some really skinny weird zones:
So, what I want to investigate is:
Whether that behaviour for the Retail space is expected (based on model-articulation gem and bar methods)?
How bar works...cause if the square footage is the same as the RetailStandalone prototype, I would at least expect the number of thermal zones to match (RetailStandalone prototype = 5 zones, this model = 18 zones in the RetailStandalone portion (i.e. first floor))
If this type of behaviour is expected, is this what we want to have happen? Maybe for our use case it's ok, but it seems non-ideal to me...just my opinion though.
