Im not super familiar with google's mapping platform besides doing some geocoding with it a while back and it looks like https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/viewer?mid=1x9KT3SJub0igOTnhFtdRYmceZuBXMWvK&ll=38.661775465821805%2C-105.41493470505694&z=8 is on the list of data that needs importing.
upon some initial inspect elementing it seems like there is not a lot of data being requested when the map loads like there is with ArcGIS. i did find a curiously large amount of what looked like base64-encoded - possibly encrypted data in one of the only XHR requests that happened when the map loaded. so maybe this is worth investigating
