It would be useful to be able to click two or three compounds/perturbagens, for example, to compare the information that is available for them in the dashboard (a side-by-side comparison).
As a follow-up to that, it would be useful to see if multiple compounds/perturbagens have similar observations (i.e. after clicking a compound you could also see if there are related compounds with an additional box that says "Related perturbagens and compounds"

It would be interesting to have a "Researchers are also looking at..." page to show where people travel on the site after clicking a given molecule (analogous to browsing Amazon, where there is a scrolling horizontal bar of related options toward the bottom of the page).

This is a potentially major-to-implement functionality, but also potentially of very high value. Could we consider expanding the Gene Cart concept to a more generic "Subject Cart" that permits this kind of comparison shopping?
