I have seen versions of this paper implemented in various context: https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s12194-024-00790-1

The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:
W. A.Kalender, R. Hebel, and J. Ebersberger, “Reduction of CT artifacts caused by metallic implants,” Radiology 164(2), 576–577 (1987).
Meyer E, Raupach R, Lell M, Schmidt B, Kachelriess M. Normalized metal artifact reduction (NMAR) in computed tomography. Med Phys. 2010;37(10):5482–93.
Sorry, something went wrong.
(I think ) The first one (Kalender) is the first paper on the sinogram impainting method.
The second one (Meyer) is the original paper on NMAR.
