For the fleet energy predictor (FEP) some signals are needed to generate a database of correction factors (in-vehicle measurement) and additional signals for full functionality including the energy prediction (CF, ID signals and cloud communication). For a measurement campaign the in-vehicle signals shall be measured in 1Hz. All of these Signals are part of VSS already. The recorded data could be accessible by cloud or some kind of storage after the drive.

Fleet Energy Predictor - Functional architecture.pptx

I have an overview of the mathematical functions in the vehicle. This way the base energy can be calculated based on the signals provided in the excel sheet.

Thanks @cgrewer1 - we should resume our Thursday calls if the new regular call time doesn't work for you. Met a few people from Mathworks at COVESA All Member Meeting and they're willing to help with exporting calculations and coming up with a representation we can put in a sampling campaign. My thinking is we would have similar to named functions/stored procedures in YAML as an overlay to VSS
