I have problems understanding Rule-15 and it's missing recommended example. Can you please add one?

From my understanding current "Avoid" example is what described as recommended.

EDIT: Also, after watching the vid, it seems that the "/* avoid */" may be the unfortunate result of some copypasta and, in fact, this is the recommended and happy path.
