I'm trying to bind the markers to their respective slides/scroll position.

directly access one of the slides/scroll position ? I have tried to open URL/odyssey.html#N to access slide number N, but it doesn't work.
automatically get the slide number within the markdown header of a slide to link the click event on the marker to the correct slide

As a side question, can we put arbitrary javascript code between the fences (```) ?
