I am no programming wiz, but I was looking at the videos [on youtube] for this software and wondered what would happen if this simulation was run for millions, if not billions of iterations, which led me to an idea: what if the code could be modified to run on big computers (Titan is the only one that comes to mind, just because it is the biggest). US national laboratory computers are required to devote time to anyone who would like to access them. Also, BOINC is a great distributed computing system that many people use. Maybe an ultra-long term study using Boinc might come in handy with many levels of generations.
