Find names of musical instruments in as many languages as possible, then add them to Wikidata.
This would be useful for LinkedMusic searches.
Note that even in one language, a specific music instrument can have more than one name, e.g., timpani/kettle drums and tin whistle / penny whistle.
Find pictures of all musical instruments that exists and existed.
These will be used to find names for them on the VIM website.
The names and pictures will be collected via crowdsourcing.
People can add, edit, or to contest names.
Also collect: first sightings (in prose), first mention (OED), paintings (iconography)
Game: Select a language, show pictures of instruments without a name in that language
Crowd sourcing (incentives): Bonus points
VIM also can act as a pictorial front-end for musical instruments in Wikidata.
