I would hope to see a list of steps that could be taken to improve one's anonymity.

Hi Jason,

Thanks for your interest in this project.
Providing recommendations is definitely the next step.
Now that we start having a bit of data, we can start analyzing them to build such a recommender

This is a good candidate for canvas detection blocking: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/canvasblocker/ (see current issues at https://github.com/kkapsner/CanvasBlocker/issues)

@nodiscc Thanks for the link and thank you for your interest in the project!
This blocking extension is defintely interesting even though its use can be detected. We may add detection for this type of extension in a future update of AmIUnique but in the meantime, we'll definitely look for it when we will fully analyse the data that we collected so far.
