can't exit ffxivapp

using windows 10 pro 64bit, current updates, avast antivirus. i run it as admin via desktop shortcut. download the installer from xivapp.com. no version info given once installed though.

each time i go to close xiv app, i have to use task manager to end task on it. using the X in the top right of the app window, or right click on systray to exit won't close it.

i'd try waiting to see if it just has to save & exit, but to no avail. i'm on your discord (Twospirited) as well, DM me there if you need more info.
