We're likely a long way from needing to do this, but I want to capture I while it's in my head.

As the browser vendors converge on an extensions spec, extension developer will inevitably ask which of our extensions works across browsers. When that stars, we should:

  • Label all samples as cross-browser or Chrome only
  • Surface this information in the samples search page

I am willing to work on this issue.
And I want a bit more understanding about what the issue is about and what outcome is wanted from this issue. @jpmedley

In relation to this, should all future samples also provide this info while they are being committed? I would like to work on some samples, so was wondering if I should include its cross-browser compatibility status too.
And what is the list of browsers being considered? All chromium-based browsers?
Thanks in advance @jpmedley
