What feature(s) are you requesting?

Add better documentation on how people can effectively write/maintain code in the Templates repo, including the following:

  • Managing code ownership/reviews
  • Guidance for maintainers around merging PRs/repo expectations
  • Release process
  • Guide on adding a new template
  • Guide on adding new integration tests
  • Guide on CI/CD
  • Organize existing docs more cleanly/modularly

As part of this work, add better automation:

  • Finish adding code owners
  • Automatically triage issues
  • Add stale bot for stale issues/PRs
  • Manually triage or close existing issues/pull requests
