Start to contributing code

Hi. Just wondering if there was somewhere to discuss a starting point for becoming familiar with the codebase here. I saw an open issue I'd like to try to tackle (#658). I'll just dig around on my own until then.

Currently I only have the contributing section in the readme, but that's probably not really what you need.

The most relevant parts for you are probably Suggest, where the suggestions are set, and Settings / SettingsValues (for making the change optional).
In Suggest you need to make sure the "actually typed word" in in first place in the list of suggestions.

(unfortunately I don't nearly have enough time for the all the issues and PRs, so I might be quite slow in reviewing or answering questions)

This is an awesome reply. I appreciate the time you took to respond. This is plenty to get started. Thanks a bunch! I've never contributed before, is it best practice to open a PR asap, or only once I've implemented a solution?

What is relevant is that you announce you're working on it (best in the issue), to avoid 2 people working on the same thing (there is real danger for this in #658)
