Node pulling Syntax Error [LINUX][RASPI] #39

When trying to initialize nomad to subscribe to an existing stream on the raspberry pi the following error occurs:

/home/pi/Nomad/node_modules/nomad-stream/src/node.js
const { publish, publishRoot } = require(' ./publish') 

SyntaxError: Unexpected token {
    at exports.runInThisContext (vm.js:53.16)
    at  Module._compile (module.js: 414:25)
   ...... etc.

It appears this is originating with the source npm module.
