Strange directions to quest turn-in

For quite a few weeks now, the directions to turn in the quest are wanting to take me seemingly halfway around the world when the actual NPC is right in front of me as per my attachment. I am playing Cataclysm classic and cannot seem to find any settings that would cause this and I have also disabled all addons except Carbonite, but the problem persists. There are no errors reported.
I have just completely reinstalled Carbonite and removed the savedvariables too, before installing the fresh version. I'd appreciate some help on this rather annoying problem.
