Investigate regressions in iris 1.8 beta6 #2502

I've found 3 regressions so far:

"Connected Glass" option from Complementary now has lines between glass blocks
Complementary can no longer hide water inside boats
"End Crystal Vortex" option from Euphoria Patches now doesn't work correctly. https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/b1998566-61aa-45e2-a07a-d0ff6c9705ba

There may be other issues. If you find any shader bugs that exist on 1.8 B6 that aren't in earlier versions please leave them in the comments.
