Question about Feedback and Scientific Paper

I have a few questions:

For the feedback, if I wanted to give feedback for a specific presentation, is there anything in particular I need to do? For example, make a pull request or comment on the presentation's pull request? Does this need to be well before the presentation?

For the scientific paper, what is the critical part? Also, code snippets do not make sense for our presentation idea; is that a problem?
