How do you create line breaks and add apostrophes?

Hello,

Thank you for designing this excellent theme. I am working on a personal portfolio and have used your theme.

I have been trying to do two things and can't figure it out.

1. I have words that have apostrophes in them - don't, won't, aren't that I need to add to descriptions. The apostrophes cause the single-quotation marks to stop working. There are apparently many, many ways to approach apostrophes in YML -- do you know which one works for this site?

2. Similarly, I'd like to put in line breaks in my descriptions. I tried using the standard ones /n and that didn't work -- any idea how to create a line break?
