\section{Society Name - HackSoc}
1.1 The name of the society shall be the University of Liverpool Hackathon Society,
which can be abbreveated to HackSoc.
On the subject of "Hacking" please see the definition below.
\section{Aims and Objective}
1.1 The aims and objective of the society are:

\item[$\bullet$]To allow students from all background (e.g. non-STEM course)
to collaborate and work in a suitable environment on technological project such as web developement,
mobile developement, data science, artificial intelligence, game developement and more.
\item[$\bullet$] To allow students to host and attend student Hackathon across the United Kingdom.
\item[$\bullet$] To provide opportunities to expand student skills and experience through
"hacking" workshop. With the help of professionals from the industry and experienced students;
we can host programming tutorial, VR session, entrepreneur talks and more events.
\item[$\bullet$] To aid other organization (e.g. homeless society, BeeKeeping society or other small company),
by developing tech solution for them as a non-profit. This will be beneficial to our student, since they can work on a real world project and benefit the organization since we will solve their problems.

1.1 What do all members must follow

1.2 The Committee shall be responsible with running the Society and making important decision. Additionally all Committee members are responsible for:

\item[$\bullet$] Chairperson of the Society and its Committee
\item[$\bullet$] Research and pursue sponsors and sponsorship opportunities
\item[$\bullet$] Ensure healthy relationship is kept with sponsors and
other organisation
\item[$\bullet$] Handle possible projects
\item[$\bullet$] Maintain bots on site such as Github and Slack
\item[$\bullet$] Assist other committees when necessary
\item[$\bullet$] Prepare a handover for successor

\item[Vice-President] are responsible for:

\item[$\bullet$] Provide tasks for other members of the Committee
\item[$\bullet$] Assist the President with dueties when absent or occupy
\item[$\bullet$] Support and advise the President with important decisions
\item[$\bullet$] Chairperson of the Society and its Committee when
President is absent

\item[Treasurer] are responsible for:

\item[$\bullet$] Responsible in keeping the Societie finance in good shape
\item[$\bullet$] Handle budget given from The Guild of Student,
sponsors, and other organisation
\item[$\bullet$] Distribute the budget on merchandise
\item[$\bullet$] Create financial plans for the Society
\item[$\bullet$] Keep track of all financial transaction

\item[Core Developer] are responsible for:

\item[$\bullet$] Develop the necessary applications requested by the Society
\item[$\bullet$] Maintain and ensure that society website and applications
are fully functional
\item[$\bullet$] Ensure quality code style for future Core Developer
\item[$\bullet$] Be responsible for Software documentation
\item[$\bullet$] Maintain the Society repositories through GitHub Organisation
\item[$\bullet$] Develop workshop for teaching members with different
technologies (e.g. Git)

1.5 The President shall be given the title "Benevolent Dictator for Life" when he/she no
longer holds the title.
The term is used in software developement culture, where it is given to people
whom contributed significantly towards the field, for example creating a
programming language. The tile acts as a sign of respect
