It's very difficult to put a technology under a single category. Most tools do multiple things. Trying to create separate categories is going to create an overwhelming experience and is going to be difficult to manage.
I like how in starter.dev, they do not subdivide too much. An improvement on that would be to add tags to technologies and let users view by specificity.
Currently there's no distinction between frameworks that are considered full-stack, but are very heavily leaning towards the frontend or the back-end. This was a nasty surprise for me.
For example, Next.js and Angular can be considered full-stack frontend frameworks, whereas Spring Boot and Nest.js could be considered full-stack backend frameworks
Some frameworks handle both, such as Ember.js. We can refer to them as batteries-included for now.
