laser configuration issue

thanks @MagoKimbra to maintain and update this repo , I've tried to add my customized motherboard and configure Marlin for engraving purpose , but whenever I tried to set the EXTRUDERS & DRIVER_EXTRUDERS to 0, I received too compiler error , is the other way to disable 3d printer feature such as extruder and temperature ? caz I only need X & Y axis
