カナダからのご挨拶。TCW10 is the greatest—just what I've been looking for! Thanks! どうもありがとう!
Because TC is set to 24-hour time by default, it took a while for me to understand how to make it show 12-hour time with "am/pm".
In Preferences > Format, I selected "12H" and "AM/PM". (I didn't know "AM/PM" applied only to the non-custom format.) Then I clicked Custom Format and reduced the sample string to the one I wanted:
h:nn\nddd dd mmm
But when I applied it, "am" (or "pm") didn't appear. It took me a while to figure out that I must include the tt parameter:
h:nn tt\nddd dd mmm
(If you select the "AM/PM" checkbox before you select Custom Format, "AM/PM" stays selected—so it looks like the "AM/PM" option isn't being applied... Make sense?)
Readme > "About formatting" says:
For extended formatting, we recommend that you first enter the following string in the custom format field of "Right-click Menu" => "Clock" => "Format" to see what information can be displayed...
But the "master" string doesn't include tt—so maybe you could add a note about tt at the end of that section.
You could also add a tooltip when the user hovers over "AM/PM", for example: "To show 'am/pm' in custom format, include the tt parameter")
幸運をお祈りしています, Andy
