Yes of course. How to deal with backward compatibility if people using this package have written data to their databases to identify french regions and iso codes?
The data for france regions was valid until 2015 and looked like this:
Elsass (Alsace) | (FR-A)
with a total of 22 regions.
2016 there was a change to three letter codes and only 13 regions like this:
Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes | FR-ARA
