I'm using the PB mainly for Spotify playback, so there is no local soundfiles. When I create a new shortcut file for a RFID-Card in shortcuts, pointing to a new folder in audiofolders which contains a spotify.txt file with a valid Spotify URI, this is usually all I need to do to register a new card.
But for newly created files, this only works after some time or after rebooting the phoniebox.
Can I somehow trigger this rebuild manually, which seems to be necessary, obviously without a reboot? This seems not to be the same as mopidyctl local scan, which seems to be for Playlists and Audio file indexing, only, correct?

Hi everyone,
I'm using the PB mainly for Spotify playback, so there is no local soundfiles. When I create a new shortcut file for a RFID-Card in
shortcuts
, pointing to a new folder inaudiofolders
which contains aspotify.txt
file with a valid Spotify URI, this is usually all I need to do to register a new card. But for newly created files, this only works after some time or after rebooting the phoniebox.
Can I somehow trigger this rebuild manually, which seems to be necessary, obviously without a reboot? This seems not to be the same as
mopidyctl local scan
, which seems to be for Playlists and Audio file indexing, only, correct?Beta Was this translation helpful? Give feedback.
