Learn Basic HTML & CSS Training Path

Phase 1:

Objective: Learn foundational HTML & CSS:

• Codecademy Learn HTML (3 hours)
• Codecademy Learn CSS (9 hours)

Optional courses if you want more practice and have time:

• Codecademy Making A Website - (4 hours)
• Free Code Camp HTML5&CSS - (5 hours)

Phase 2:

Objective: Apply your knowledge and make some projects:

• Udacity Free Intro to HTML & CSS (3 weeks) Requirements:
  • Download a text editor Sublime Text or Atom.
  • Download and install Google Chrome, which is the browser we’ll be exploring developer tools with in this course.

Phase 3:

Objective: Complete the Web Design/HTML Challenges. Complete all eight challenges to solidify your learning with HTML. These challenges builds on the skills you have learned.

Phase 4:

Objective: Build your own project using the tools you learned in the last two phases. The goal is to setup a project having an index.html page, css folder and stylec.css, img folder and images. You can use your own framework or use a popular framework like Bootstraps. Share and get feedback in our closed Facebook study group.
