I don't think this feature (fedimint/fedimint#3322) was back ported to 0.2, so unfortunately we cannot attempt a payment to an invoice once it failed. This combined with a canceled state bug will cause Mutiny to be pending for a full 30s and then going back to the home screen, a few seconds of processing the refund will have to occur (and is causing the activity list to not load during this time, that's another issue I'm unsure of since we removed the locks).
