To support changes in iOS 16, Kount has released an update to the Device Data Collector (DDC) iOS SDK from 4.1.5 to 4.1.6 on September 9, 2022. Refer to Native iOS and Android SDKs on the Kount Support site for DDC iOS SDK integration instructions.
Apple has made it mandatory to enable certain permissions that formerly did not require user interaction. Our earlier iOS SDK used some of those permissions.
If you continue to use our SDK version 4.1.5 or earlier without requesting the permission from your users, your app store submissions might be rejected by the App Store. Update to the latest version of the Kount iOS SDK to prevent any delay in the release of your app.
Kount DDC iOS SDK 4.1.6 release notes:
Updated OS support for iOS 11-16 (removed support for iOS 10 and earlier and armv7 architecture)
Removed Paste Clipboard functionality to prevent requiring additional permissions in iOS 16
Bug fix: Resolved intermittent crash due to Location collection not being asynchronous
If you have any questions or need any assistance, let me know.
