Originally, the UFS_IC_generator.py script relied on using non-standard diagnostics to create the forcings for the SCM. This "exact" method, while more cumbersome, is more accurate at replicating the UFS state within the SCM.
We should add this back in, at least for testing , to give us a benchmark for how accuracy with the "approximate" method.
