You probably are going to change the window titles, right?
Quite a bit will change on the way to full release. Do you have good suggestions?
I want to suggest using QLabels instead of the text in the picture. That way stretching the picture wouldn't look as bad. You may also want to use too different pictures, one with just the layering that stretches and one with the pile structure that is only aligned to the center of the frame. That way the pile structure doesn't stretch either and you get smoother graphics.
I actually plan on using a dynamic graphic that shows real layer thickness, allows to drag interfaces to adjust thickness, and maybe show the deformed pile in that graph. Just takes more time than I had and this was the quick and dirty fix. I like the idea of two images. I'll give it a try.
Include the axial loads as well. You already have the functionality inside. In fact the t-z and Q-z springs wouldn't do anything (the check box for the toe resistance is meaningless) if there is no axial load. That way you can include the interaction of the axial and lateral loads as well.
Axial load will also require a vertical displacement plot and an axial load plot. Those will require a better design of the plot tabs for we are running out of space for tabs. Ideas most welcome!
Include a plot of pile head load-deformation (both lateral and axial). Maybe even the moment-rotation?
This is a great idea. Could be a generalized x-y plot where users can select the axis variables.
The plots look a bit jagged which I guess is because of the points at the boundaries that don't have a spring. Maybe you want to remove them from the plots?
The extra node is actually NOT generated, so the jaggedness is more likely due to a sudden change in element lengths for the pile elements.
