I was wondering what's a good way to use sailor with pkgsrc. I sometimes need packages with options deviating from the defaults, and currently it's obviously not possible to use them with sailor.

Hi,
I'm no developper of sailor but i (tried to) used it in the past. I had
about the same need. I wanted to use pkgsrc in sailor because I was using
non-x86 hardware (sparc32) and there was not enough packages provided by
pkgin. Worst, some some package that were needed to build a ship were not
available for my architecture.
AFIK, sailor is strongly dependant of pkgin so you might have to look at
the code. I tried to do it by myself but I was missing time and
motivation...
