Description

wp_die() triggered by customize.php when user accesses customizer from admin bar when viewing website after previously using it to upload a logo image and saving the custom color palette.

How to replicate

  1. Navigate to the WP theme customizer.
  2. Navigate to the colors panel in the customizer.
  3. Change the logo image in some way either by removing it or uploading a new one.
  4. Publish the changes.
  5. Navigate to the website.
  6. Navigate to the customizer using the Customizer button on the admin toolbar.
  7. Instead of simply routing to the customizer, the error is triggered.

Solution

Somehow remove the changeset UUID from the customizer URL -- it seems to have no effect on loading the customizer when manually removed.
