У некоторых разработчиков игр стали выходить обновления с новыми библиотеками. И переводчик с ними игру вообще не запускает.
Файл прикрепил. Название игры удалил.

upd. 14 августа вышла новая версия Renpy 8 с поддержкой библиотек Python 3. Скорее всего с этого момента все будут переезжать на обновлённый движок и без обновления переводчик просто не будет работать.
