In #192 we approved the the addition of the exposure of organism class. This class is now present in cob-edit. In RO PR 606 we are wanting to use the exposure of organism class.

Are there plans to make a release of COB, so that other ontologies can properly reference this class?

Unfortunately there still seem to be problems with the exposure class. Unfortunately also these problems are vocalised on various private chats.

I thought the PR was approved and merged b/c we (the COB collective) had decided that the exposure to organism class was deemed adequate.

Am I mistaken?

I think it's fine, but give it a week for the dust to settle. I think the word "entity" in the definition is causing concern people make mistake the class for being restricted to exposure to physical entities..

@bpeters42 No, I am not part of such conversations :(
It would be great if we can make a release so that I close the related RO issue.

Forget my comment. Since no one spoke up in public, just move forward now..

Thanks @matentzn
Do you know who is responsible for making a COB release?
