Radial Dropdown UI Suggestions

A few concepts of possible EMG Joystick

My preference is the bottom concept (IMAGE 2). It would be great if the "dropdowns" only appeared on-hover...

Otherwise, they would disappear out of view, and you'd only see the EMG cursor.
