Without official driver the device generates 2D mouse input on Mac #65

Describe the bug
When the 3dconnexion driver isn't installed on Mac, the device will generate 2d mouse inputs for the system

  • Roll -> horizontal cursor movement
  • Pitch -> vertical cursor movement
  • Yaw -> mouse wheel

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Don't install 3dconnexion driver on a Mac
  2. Rotate device knob
  3. See mouse cursor move / scroll list views

Expected behavior
Nothing

Details:

  • In Mac OS
  • Device type Spacemouse Pro
  • Connection wired
  • Mac OS Sonoma on Mac Mini 2011
  • SpaceNavigator Driver version 2.0.0-pre.12 unify_layouts_2 branch 08-09-24

@stefanhong Just to cover all possibilities, try pressing the 2D button in the center of the directional views, to “unlock” the 2D mode in case it was accidentally activated.
