V3 is released! You need some components to get Minecraft start.
- Enable hidden folders in your file manager before go to setup.
- Links are embedded on the light blue text.
- Only select x86/64 Java Runtime if your device use Intel or AMD CPU.
- Some 64-bit devices still run on 32-bit mode (except devices with higher than 4GB RAM). So only use JRE architecture that is provided in JRE installer prompt, otherwise a dialog about incompatible architecture will appear when launch.
- Download and install working PojavLauncher v3 (current: v3.2.0).
- Open it, then it will display a prompt with compatible architecture name, one of ARMv7 (arm/aarch32), ARMv8 (arm64/aarch64), x86 (i*86) or x86_64 (amd64).
- Remember the architecture name, then download compatible Java Runtime: for ARMv7 (aarch32), for ARMv8 (arm64/aarch64), for x86, for x86_64.
- Download lwjgl3-lwjgl2bridge.zip, then extract .jar files inside to
/sdcard/games/.minecraft/lwjgl3
directory, (some people just copied the file to lwjgl3 directory, that would not work,/sdcard
is internal storage of device).
- Launch and play experience will be same as v2.
-
Audio (OpenAL) may be broken in some devices.works fine now. - Minecraft 1.5.x and below is not supported yet.
