After changing env imports arnt working

im on python_version = "3.10", ["maturin>=0.13,<0.14"]

I had a library releasing as expected via the actions but after changing env and then changing back (to the original env i had been using) the following stopped working.

in python/fastqlapi/_init.py

from .fastqlapi import *
from .server import fastql_server

my structure was
/python
/fastqlapi
server.py
init.py

and im getting this error from the deployed code when i try to import the library:

from fastqlapi import fastql_server
File "/home/ubuntu/.local/lib/python3.8/site-packages/fastqlapi/init.py", line 5, in
from .server import fastql_server
ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'fastqlapi.server'

Im looking at the diff of the two commits and absolutely nothing has changed apart from some small changes in some rust code which has no relation to py03 and the version number

Transferred from maturin-action, please provide detailed reproduce steps. Most likely you have wrong module name as explained in https://pyo3.rs/v0.17.3/module.html

the name of the module must match the name of the .so or .pyd file.

Have attached a picture of my python folder just to validate the .so match.

the extension definition is very simple it is:

What is really wierd about this is that everything was working fine, uploading to pypy and installing correctly and then all of a sudden on the next build i started getting the errors from init.py above, but ive checked my diff painstakingly and there is no change whatsoever anywhere except in the rust code i've changed which is minimal and doesnt impact the py03 code at all.

And the versions of maturin and the action appear to be identical.

a bit more info:

When i look at the content of the installed dependency, in the version that works i can find the file that the error is complaining is missing:

But it is missing in the new version

Even though in my git files it is in the correct and identical place?

I thought maybe i was gitignoring it but as i say the contents of git are identical between the version that includes the server.py file and the one that doesnt

Sorry, it's hard to debug without the full source code, if you can make it public (with minimal code that can reproduce it is fine) would be much more helpful.

That said, what's the content of your .gitignore file?

Hey, ive made it public temporarily so i can share.
I just tried renaming the file and now the new file is appearing in the downloaded package but im getting this error (which although doesnt make sense to me given the diffs is at least maybe a bit more helpful for you)

AttributeError: module 'fastqlapi' has no attribute 'init'

The init function lives in fastqlapi.fastqlapi, so you should use from fastqlapi import fastqlapi instead of import fastqlapi in api.py

Hey .. yeh thats actually another file i had in root, not cause of the problem.
if you compare those two diffs youll see what i mean i think.
