  • emu convert: transcode files from WAAC to WAVE, or FLAC to WAVE, or WAVE to FLAC
    • must preserve metadata blocks
  • emu segment: extract a series of segments, or one segment, or a sample of segments from a file for analysis
  • emu metadata dump: emit guan or wamd blocks directly to the console #350
  • emu metadata split: split guan or wamd blocks into sidecar files
  • emu metadata edit: add metadata to any file (in a guan block)
  • emu metadata strip: remove metadata from a file (for example for privacy reasons)
  • R/python wrappers

Keen for more ideas. The basic process is I'll leave this issue open and only create sub-issues (and specs) when someone wants to champion the problem.
