RME fields stored as text #951

Because all of the values in the RME DB are stored as text, trying to treat them in as numbers for filtering in QGIS is causing problems for people.

I really think posting this on both Stack Exchange and QGIS forum would be productive. Easy to provide an example spatial view query.
