Tested the latest release to check the SXS mode compatibility ... I was waiting for this feature to be added so I can move to DsHidMini + ds4windows (since I got like 6 ps3 controllers lying around) ... the SXS mode is recognized by ds4windows but only using USB ...it didn't work in Bluetooth ..and there seems to be no lightbar control in SXS mode (not a big issue but thought I would report it ) . and although the sixaxis controls work perfectly fine in ds4windows ..and show correctly in controller readings ... when i tried to use it with cemu and padtest after enabling the UDP server it just didn't work properly ... in cemu i can only move slowly up and down and in the padtest it detects the right position of the controller ..but when i move to another position it take a few seconds to get there... |

Yeah, there is no lightbar control. I hope they will fix this in the future. And I hope they will find a way to emulate gyro to move mouse cursor in y-axis too. In gyro preview it's possible to move dot in four directions, so maybe it will be possible with some tweaks. For me mouse is working now only in x-axis. It's fine, but I hope it can be better soon. |

@nightulp it's definitely a great addition to ds4windows , we finally got motion support for the ds3 ...and yep no lightbar support right now but from the behavior of the leds I assume it's showing battery level by default ... as for the motion controls right now ..as i stated , we get readings of x,y and z in ps4windows but when i tried to use it through the UDP server on padtest it moved in slow motion .. and in cemu it only moved up and down slowly .... and i actually did more tests on 5 ps3 controllers ...all of them have the same behavior except the oldest one which does have good x axis movement .. the motion control support is a contribution by SunnyQeen .. and he stated that only the controllers with the old module have x axis movement (so i assume the one that had good x axis movement is the oldest controller i got with the ps3 with the old module ) ...and that the controls in general need movement scaling to get proper control and higher speed ... |

Maybe you need to reinstall it and select SXS mode before start DS4Windows. And YES light bar control is a must. For Motion I test it in Yuzu with Neptunia and Senran Kagura(And I still want to test more with others) As a result motion did work when I tilt left and right but it has some kind of slight delay. And you did mention about controller with old module have x axis movement. Is that Sixaxis model? if not can you tell me what model this one? |

I tried reinstalling everything but it just doesn't get recognized when set to SXS mode using Bluetooth...but works fine in d4swindows mode. .. and SXS mode works perfectly fine in USB mode in ds4windows. yea , lightbar support would be great .... I guess the SXS mode was made specifically for rpcs3 so some functions r missing. I tested the motion controls with with yuzu ,ryujinx and cemu ...and i got basically the same result using the 5 ps3 controllers i have .. only up and down movement (slow in cemu but uncontrollable in yuzu and ryujinx) ...while there is almost no x axis movement expect one controller ...and a good way to see the behavior of the controller is using padtest. yep , the old ps3 controller that had good axis movement is a ds3 Sixaxis model ...actually all 5 of them r ds3 sixaxis ..not sure why this one behaves differently ...but SunnyQeen mentioned that older ones have a better module and yaw response ...and form the condition of that controller i assume it's the oldest one that came with the ps3. |

I test mine with many games. RPCS3 did not repond at all with ds4windows xinput only respond in DS3. Ryujinx and Yuzu just like you said motion did not work properly some are not respond some are work but slow and some has slightly delay. Maybe UDP not fully sending motion data or SXS mode in Dshidmini have some function that work in RPCS3 And Thanks Mine are Dualshock 3 comes with SLim model so It isn't Sixaxis model. Maybe I would like to find Sixaxis one if possible. Well for collection. |

Finally proper DualShock 3 support. I've tested motion controls and tilting works great with official driver. Somehow SXS mode did not work properly and did not move at all mouse cursor. I need to test UDP support, but already I love this update. For full happiness (and full support) we just need pressure-sensitive face buttons support. Remapping triggers to pressure sensitive cross and square buttons would be dream for retro fans. Great job 👍. |

People need to stop asking for this. Cannot keep repeating it is a hardware limitation. The IMU in the DS3 has always only had a single axis (Yaw) gyroscope but a 3 axis accelerometer. That has been known since at least Heavy Rain was released on the PS3 (February 2010). A true 3 axis (Yaw, Pitch, Roll) gyroscope would be necessary to get true gyro controls. In short, use a modern controller if you want gyro controls. |

Ah, my fault. I meant motion controls, not exactly gyro, I used wrong word. Especiay to be able use mouse only on x and y axes like it is possible currently when we are testing motion controls in DS4Windows. You guys did very good job.
Yeah, this accelerometer support would be great to emulate mouse in two axis. But even without this currently it's possible to use DS3 in racing games, so it's great addition. |

PS Remote Play update 6.0 stopped recognizing DS4windows with DualSense over bluetooth. Now it only works via USB cable. :-( |

Yes, when using BT crc packet can not be recieved so fails crc check so controller can not connect. Enabling verbose logging and then try using BT controller shows ds4windows is detecting device and also explains why no connection can be made. vigem is also struggling to report accurate battery state so forces ds4windows to request usb cable to be used. vigem seems to have broken BT on my pc. Was relying on ds4windows/vigem to provide emulated ds4 controller when using 8BitDo Pro 2 in D and A modes. Now that controller can not connect to BT in SAD or X mode, even after uninstalling vigem |

Hi, I'd using ds4 since last year w my dualsense but unfortunately with this update it want work. When I run the ds4 and connect the controller (bluethooth) the software just crashes. I tried reinstulling it and use the controller w the cable but nothing change. |

Would need access to the log file from when DS4Windows crashes; check your Logs folder in your config location. The only breakage I know that needs to be fixed is that virtual controller output for macros is broken at the moment. I have not had the chance to look into it yet. |
